At dead of night be breaks into the chateau and steals certain papers which put him in full possession of the facts of the case. He finds that Miss St. Servan is being forced by her uncle to sell the chateau much against her wishes. When he calls the next day, instead of handing over his check in settlement of the deal, he promptly covers the unscrupulous uncle with a revolver and takes Miss St. Servan from his Charge. With the aid of the family solicitor he is aide to establish the guilt of the trustee and thereby bring happiness to the unfortunate heiress.
